The Twin Falls School District #411 Board of Trustees is pleased to announce Noell Bautista will be taking the role of Principal at Sawtooth Elementary School on July 1. The Board made this announcement Tuesday, March 12.
Bautista is currently the principal at Perrine Elementary School. Previously, she served as the Associate Principal at Oregon Trail Elementary and Sawtooth Elementary School as well as Harrison Elementary School, a role she has held since 2021. She started her career in education as a curriculum and instruction assistant at the TFSD in 2003. She then transitioned to a 21st Century Grant coordinator at Perrine and Lincoln elementary schools in 2005. After receiving her teaching certificate, she became a first-grade teacher in 2008 and a third-grade teacher in 2013, both at Oregon Trail Elementary School. She joined the West Ada School District in 2016 as a Title I Teacher at Meridian Elementary School then at Eagle Hills Elementary as a fourth-grade teacher where she worked until she took her current position.
Bautista received a Bachelor of Business Administration (HR) from Boise State University, an Elementary Education Certificate from Lewis-Clark State College in 2008, and a Master of Science in Educational Leadership from Western Governors University in 2017.
“I am thrilled to join the staff at Sawtooth Elementary. The opportunity to lead Sawtooth, building upon Mrs. Combs' vision, working with a skilled and compassionate group of educators, and partnering with amazing families is one I hope to continue for many years to come.” Bautista said.
Bautista will fill the role previously held by Mickey Combs who announced her retirement earlier this year.
