Perrine's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) had its first meeting of the 2026-27 school year. They are already making plans to celebrate and support our students, families and staff. Plans are being made for dances, fundraisers, community nights and so much more. Please consider attending the meeting next month to see what this organization is all about.

In the wake of the Canyon West shooting on August 1, the City of Twin Falls is leading a community-wide effort to facilitate recovery and support our town.
As part of this initiative, the city has created a survey to better understand which supports and resources are most needed. As a community partner, the Twin Falls School District is sharing this survey and encourages all of our staff and families to take a few moments to complete it.

According to Ms. Waugh, "When it is too hot in the classroom, you should enjoy the cool breeze and the shade of the trees to do science!" It seems that the fourth graders agreed with her.
Perrine Elementary School would like to proudly share the 2026-27 Student Council. Congratulations to all of these bright leaders.
The 2nd graders at Perrine enjoyed creating their Beetle Glyph masterpieces during a math lesson. All of the 2nd graders had the opportunity to create their unique beetles. It was a fun way to find out more about each other.

We are excited to announce that we are building a PreK program at Perrine! Starting this week, our Preschool Academy families will be using the bus lane for picking up their PreK students ONLY. This will not change how K-5 do pick up and drop off. It is only for the PreK students. Thanks everyone, you have all been doing a great job with following the pick up and drop off procedures for our Panthers.
Don't forget - tonight our kindergarten students are invited to meet the Canyon Ridge High School Seniors on the 50 yard line at halftime.
