Our third graders recently had a special visit. A presenter from Idaho Power came and shared information with our Panthers as part of "Project Wings." In the pictures, you can see one of his slides about birds and power. Thank you, Idaho Power, for your visit and your service.

Power has been restored to Perrine, RSMS, TFHS, Sawtooth, CRHS, Lincoln, and Harrison. Thank you for your patience as we worked through the challenges of a power outage affecting our schools. School will continue as normal for the remainder of the day.

We are currently experiencing a power outage. As a result, we do not have access to our phone system. Our staff members have access to cell phones for emergencies. We have been in contact with Idaho Power, and they anticipate our power to be restored by 11:30. We will let you know as soon as we have additional information. If you have an emergency need to contact your child's school during this time, please contact the district office at 208-733-6900. School will continue as normal at this time.

This week is National School Lunch Week. We would like to thank this group of Lovely Lunch Ladies for making sure that our Panthers are fed 2 healthy meals a day. They also make sure that our Panthers get to try a variety of fruits and veggies every week for snacks. Thanks for all that you do!
The Parent Teacher Organization has lots going on this October. Watch for more details as the events get closer. PTO store is this week (Tuesday through Thursday) during lunchtime.
It’s hard to believe, but the first quarter is already wrapping up!

Report cards will be heading home soon, making this weekend the perfect time to chat with your student about their goals and celebrate their hard work so far this autumn!

The PTO Store will be open October 13-15 during lunchtime. There are many new items to consider purchasing. If your child will be shopping, it is always wise to put their money in a baggie or envelope with their name on it (just in case they drop it).
Helping with the store is just one thing that PTO volunteers can do. Consider coming to the next meeting if this is a job for you...
